This week, I saw quite a few requests online for Slasher recommendations and I figured I would add one more to the mix. I have already blasted out about Kristopher Rufty and his large catalogue of work, many of which are excellent slasher stories, but today, I want to introduce you to Nikolas P. Robinson.
His novel, BENEATH THE UNSPOILED WILDERNESS, came out last winter and it's an awesome slasher story, somewhat in the vein of such movies like "Wrong Turn" or "If the Hills Had Eyes" but it adds so much more to the tale of terror found within. This is a multi-layered story with rich and relatable characters, heavy hits of emotion, plenty of horror-filled blood and gore and a storyline that will leave you guessing until the last pages.
