Happy Friday, everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful week, and a big thank you for swinging by.

I don't know about you, but clowns tend to make me feel uneasy, whether it be an actual clown or some type of inanimate clown object. Clowns just give me the ick.

So, I thought, hey, why not torture myself with a clown tale this week? Let's take a moment and meet……

Buttons by Jennifer Osborn

Welcome to Cedar Grove, a quiet little town with an unfortunate problem. A killer clown named Buttons.

20 years ago, Buttons terrorized the town. He was known for his practice of killing victims and replacing their eyes with buttons. According to legend, if you keep something clown-related at your home, he will skip your house.

Karen survived an ordeal with Buttons when she was a teenager; now, 20 years later. He's back.

This book was a fun, quick, creepy little read. While it was a wonderful short story, I could really see it as a full-length book.

Good storytelling, just the right amount of violence. A tale definitely worth checking out. Check it out!
