Happy Saturday! Hard to believe that it is already June but here we are! Summer season for those of us in the States; time for vacations, beach trips, camping, theme parks, Bar-B-Que picnics, and more. It also means convention season is in full swing with StokerCon, KillerCon, The Texas Author Con & Book Festival, and TBRCon are all quickly approaching, along with many other horror conventions and comic cons around the country.
This weekend, I am hanging out with fellow author Joseph Pesavento here in Pittsburgh, at the Living Dead Weekend at the Monroeville Mall, where the movie Dawn of the Dead was filmed.
If you are a zombie fan or a Romero fan, this is truly a one of kind event, with Meet and Greet's happening all weekend with tons of the cast members from the Living Dead movies, Special FX presentations from the movie's own special effects team, panels with Tom Savini, a movie location tour around the mall itself, and tons of vendors. Can't forget to stop in to see the Museum on the second floor and check out props from the franchise, see the wall of autographs, and purchase exclusive merch.
