AUTHOR BIO
Patrick Tumblety is an author of horror, science fiction, and poetry. His debut novel, Come
Out & Play, was published by Uncomfortably Dark Horror and has been reviewed as "A
poignant look at how our trauma bleeds into every part of our lives. My heart didn't know
whether to break or race...” (Laurel Hightower, Bram Stoker Nominated Author).
In September 2025, he released his second novel, a coming-of-age slasher, One Fright Only,
from Uncomfortably Dark Horror, as well as The October Children, an illustrated collection
of poetry and prose about the Halloween season, published by October Nights Press.
In addition to novels, he has published over two dozen short stories and poems worldwide.
