Happy Saturday! We made it to February! This week brings a good range and something for everyone. Enjoy!

VERY VIOLENT GHOSTS
By R.J. Benetti
“Reshooting the forever-film… the reels spin without end… powered by our remembered suffering.”
This was hands down the hardest ARC I have ever received that I was asked to keep under wraps. Why? Because Benetti came out and did something insanely special with this one. IT’S DEEP. If you’ve ever read Benetti, you know things can go a little rogue and get on the bizarro side. And don’t get me wrong, you totally get that with this one. But you also get so much more. The depth of certain things was awesome to read by him, and he executed it perfectly. I loved this book. Every time I read a new book by him, I think it’s my favorite, then he comes out with a new one, and I am forever blown away.
I think this will be a favorite amongst Benetti fans. I also think this will be a huge hit with horror fans in general. It’s brilliant. One of the best ghost stories I have ever read. And there’s a reason it’s sitting pretty at the top of Godless. So yeah, read it asap
SYNOPSIS:
BOO, YOU'RE DEAD!
The film students just wanted to pitch movie ideas in the haunted house—little did they know, this was a ghost's cutting room floor.
Endless reincarnations, endless kills, time and space interweaving like sutured thread. No one is safe. This paranormal slasher will chew your mind like scenery, barfing it out into a frothing bucket of blood.
Lights. Camera. Death.
"For a dizzying ride of sidesplitting hilarity and simultaneous projectile vomiting, you owe it to yourself (and your sides) to seek out the sickening delights of R.J. Benetti—one of the genre's most comically deranged and supreme talents!"

MELT
By Reekfeel
"It is our fluid skin, it is the chemicals sapping in the air. It is the Heat. Everything is soft and melting here, even the bricks. It is dust, but not dust, but a constant goo soaking everything. It is the microwaves in the air. The leftovers of the Event. The cheer and hoo-ha of your generation. The big Millennium party we reckon you had. You bloody fucked it all up. Or someone did. I don’t know. No one does. No one cares anymore. We are all too busy ferreting a living in the shit and swamp."
If you’re confused by the quote I used. Good. It’s the perfect example of what you get when you read something by Reekfeel. Reekfeel writes some of my favorite stories in my favorite style, but they are also some of the hardest to review in a way that truly gets my points across. They are so incredibly unique, and there’s a bizarre but beautiful poetic prose. Reekfeel was a new-to-me author towards the end of last year, and I have since binge-read so much of their work and again, cannot praise it enough, but often lack the right words given the context of the books, lol.
There’s a reason that MELT and Reekfeel are consistently at the top of the Godless charts. I highly encourage everyone to take a chance on this book or any of their stories. I really would love to hear more people talking about this story, as bizarro as it all gets, there’s some depth hidden between the lines, and that’s forever something I will love.
SYNOPSIS:
Welcome to Melt World, a post-apocalypse Climate Change heat and hot place, where everything and everyone melts in strange ways. We join our narrator, Cutter Mike, and his crew, as they try to survive in the wasted city by doing stupid dangerous things. Three stories of their desperate adventures. A bizarre Body Horror fun-ride. And Guest Stars – Doctor Cheesegrater (From ‘The Backwoods Bloodbath’) and Detective McSpanky (From ‘The Cripple and the Cop’). This is Bizarro Horror like ‘Street Trash’ and ‘The Toxic Avenger’ but done the Reekfeel way. With Melt Industries, religious cults, the Grand Recycler and other warped characters. All mad stuff. 20,000 words

THE FINAL VOYAGE OF CAPTAIN CLUNGE: MONDO PERVERSO PULPAGEDDON #4
By Peter Caffrey
‘No; Felicity is the boy’s name. I was at sea when he was born, and his mother wanted a daughter, so she dressed him as a girl and gave him that name. He was twelve years old when I first found out he was a boy.’
THE FINAL VOYAGE OF CAPTAIN CLUNGE is the fourth book in the MONDO PERVERSO PULPAGEDDON series (no, you don’t have to read them in any type of order) and it’s definitely one of my favorites. What I love so much about Caffrey’s writing is that he has a way of telling a story about a subject I normally wouldn’t read about, and he makes me absolutely love it! There aren’t really many times I can say that in the book world, but this is definitely one of them.
This story is actually probably more unhinged than the synopsis or cover gives the vibe of, lol, but I mean that in a good way. Because you’re in for a real treat when you grab this gem. It sits at around 65 pages (the other stories do too) and is perfect for a one-sitting binge read. I cannot recommend this book/series enough. I really can’t recommend anything by Caffrey enough! I have the fifth and sixth books sitting on my Kindle now, so get ready! We have at least two more of these fun tales coming soon!
SYNOPSIS:
MONDO PERVERSO PULPAGEDDON - PULP FICTION THE WAY PULP FICTION SHOULD BE!
THE FINAL VOYAGE OF CAPTAIN CLUNGE
Following the death of Captain Phlegm, Bob Clunge takes control of The Plague Rat and its pirate crew. Fulfilling the dyin and Captain Clunge! Will either man survive the voyage?

MALEVOLENT: Book 2 of The Demons Among Us series.
By Justin Boote
“Where’s your other daughter, Grandmother? The one you abandoned? Well, guess what, I know where she is. She in hell with me, burning for all eternity, and you put her there.”
Ok, so I am LOVING The Demon Among US series! This is book number 2, and it is FANTASTIC. I read another review that stated that it feels like The Exorcist meets The Conjuring, and I couldn’t come up with a better analogy myself.
Boote definitely writes some of my favorite extreme horror, but this paranormal horror series happening? I am obsessed. He is such a talented author, and I think this series may be some of my favorite books from him. There isn’t a horror reader I wouldn’t recommend MALEVOLENT to. It’s a hell of a story. Truly. I am currently reading the third installment, and I can’t wait to get that review out to everyone as well. But in the meantime, I highly recommend everyone start this series and catch up. I’m not even much of a series gal, but this one I can’t shout out enough!
SYNOPSIS:
