I KNOW A PLACE: Rest Stop and Other Dark Detours

Collection by Nat Cassidy

Introduction by Stephen King

Well, if you are like most horror readers, and you see a blurb from Stephen King on a new book, the chances are high that you will at least stop and pick it up to see what it’s about.

For me, as an author, as a reader, and as a huge Stephen King fan, I stopped, picked it up, and bought it. Then I read it, then I bought the audiobook and listened to that too. Then I read it again. So, yeah, it’s good.

There is one story that I can still hear in my head. A single word chilled me several times over, every time it was said. Ask me about it one day. Maybe I’ll tell you.

All rambling aside, this was a great collection. If I had to rank it on my Top Ten list, right now it would be the best collection I’ve read this year.
