Happy Saturday! It’s only the second week of November and I have come bearing three more five-star reviews!! They’re all fantastic reads and authors, so let’s jump right into it!

INSANE
By Emery LeeAnn
"From the outside I’m sure I look like a normal girl. Except you won’t see me. My Uncle keeps me locked in a barn. Convinced I am possessed. I mean seriously, if I was possessed, wouldn’t I be able to break free from the locks?"
I started reading Emery LeeAnn in the last half of this year, and her writing is intoxicating to me. INSANE is probably one of my favorite short reads of this year. The title is perfect because this book is quite freaking insane.
Â
So hear me out, a girl with multiple personalities is held captive. She ends up in a psych ward. She’s freaking crazy, but what if there are people even crazier? Yeah, I don’t know if that makes as much of an impact as I hoped, but I really need people to grab this book and read it asap. It’s not very long so you can easily read it in 1-2 sittings.
Â
You will be left with your jaw on the floor. It’s like that. Easy five stars. Grab it using the link below!
SYNOPSIS:
My name is Mary, Katherine, and Grace. You can use any one of those, I am all three. We know we are multiple, most are not aware. Of course, we don’t all speak at the same time, at least not out loud.
From the outside I’m sure I look like a normal girl. Except you won’t see me. My Uncle keeps me locked in a barn convinced I am possessed.
I mean seriously, if I was possessed, wouldn’t I be able to break free from the locks he keeps me shackled in?
Mary teaches us the Scriptures, Katherine guides our body through salvation, and Grace? Well, Grace will show you the true meaning of damnation and will punish you from your sins.
When danger arrives, it takes all three of us to survive this torture because Hell hath no wrath like a multiple scorned.

AT MIDNIGHT, THEY FEAST
By Cassandra Celia, Candace Nola, and Cat Delani
Well, my goodness, what a phenomenal gem this book is. I am very familiar with Candace Nola and her writing, but both Cassandra Celia and Cat Delani are new-to-me authors as far as their writing goes… and wow, all three absolutely knocked it out of the park with their stories.
Â
Typically, I would review each story individually but given their lengths and everything I truly want to say, I feel like I would end up having plot spoilers strewn about. So, what I’ll do is give one of my highlighted quotes from each story as a little teaser. The synopsis also does a wonderful job of giving a good indication of the vibe you should expect.
Â
JOLLY JOINT JUNCTION
By Cassandra Celia
"The carnival seemed to have always been there, not as a destination, but as a fact. A place that never arrived or departed, only waited, humming softly behind the world in a song half heard through a wall."
Â
WALK YOUR PATH
By Cat Delani
"His throat had been torn out. And his left side. And his right thigh. Huge chunks of him were missing. Intestines had been severed. I thought of the horses, of the sticky red gunk I’d cleaned off those large, strong teeth. I’m sure it’s disrespectful to throw up on a corpse."
Â
UNCLE FRANKIE’S FAMILY FARM
By Candace Nola
"The Grim Reaper stood in the middle, arms outstretched with his scythe, as the music played under layers of evil laughter. The fog machines were in the middle of the platform, hidden just under the robes of the Reaper, and would lend a green mist to the experience as the ride slowly twirled its riders into the night."
SYNOPSIS:

THE SHADOW OVER LONE WOLF LAKE
By D.W. Hitz
"That thing was where his brother should have been. It was the size and shape of his missing sibling, but it was not him—he couldn’t accept that. This decaying corpse was something else. It had been snuck into his home to scare him or ridicule him or something. This thing..."
Whenever I read Hitz, I am pretty much guaranteed that it’s going to be an awesome story. This one was everything I could ever want, and more. Hitz is one hell of a storyteller, and this book amplifies his talents to the max. At almost 500 pages, I was able to binge this book in less than three days. It has such a good flow and is simply an anxiety-filled page turner. I am a huge fan of Hitz’s writing style.
Â
The characters are done really freaking well in this book. This one also has quite a bite of gore, which was done really well. I loved the twists and turns that this book has, too. It was a rollercoaster from start to finish, in the best way possible. The plot alone is unique and brilliant. This is definitely one of those books that I find hard to review because I want to be able to do it the justice it deserves! This is an easy five-star read. I think there’s going to be a lot of love surrounding it, and it will be a favorite read for a lot of readers.

This book won't be released until December 1st, but it is available for preorder now using the link below!
SYNOPSIS:
Sometimes dead doesn't mean dead, and sometimes family is bound by more than blood.
After the death of his cantankerous grandmother, twelve-year-old Drew Kline and his family move into her house. It boasts a vast, fantastic forest, a broad and beautiful lake, and it also happens to be Drew’s father’s childhood home and the place where his young uncle disappeared twenty-five years ago.
The night of his arrival, in the crawlspace of his bedroom, Drew discovers a miniature human skull. It's a curiosity between him and his brother Dean, sparking a debate about whether the thing is real or some well-sculpted decoration. When he invites his friends to spend their last weekend of summer break exploring the property’s woods and his uncle’s clandestine fort, which contains a burial ground of pixie-size bodies, they inadvertently find themselves trapped in a land of the dead.
What follows forces Drew’s father to relive the horrific mystery of his uncle’s disappearance and reveals a long-held family secret that has cursed generations. If Drew and his friends want to return home, they’ll have to survive in that strange land as they fight their way back, and his father will have to confront an evil that will only be satisfied with blood.
