Hey folks!

I am back again with another Book Brawl review!

This time we are taking a trip to….

Motel Styx

by: Jonathan Butcher & Michelle von Eschen

Do you enjoy necrophilia but are afraid of being shunned by society? Well, fear no more. With the introduction of the Lazarus Act, you can now indulge in the 'recreational use of human corpses. Take a trip to the Chihuahuan Desert and stay at the luxurious Motel Styx.

Ellis recently lost his beloved wife. Upon learning that her remains are being sent to the necrotel, he decides to infiltrate the property in order to retrieve her body before it is defiled. Masquerading as a member, he delves deep into the inner workings of the motel. What he finds there may be more than he bargained for.

Stop whatever you are doing and read this book. No, seriously. Go.

When I first heard the buzz about this book, I thought to myself, it can't be that good, could it? It is. It's that good.

You have the main story, along with the stories of the inhabitants of the motel. It literally checked every box for me and then some. Gripping story filled with twists and turns. It's disturbing, twisted, and it packs a punch. Easily the best I have read this year, and quite frankly it will be hard to top this one. An absolute winner from beginning to end.

Go. Read it. You won't be disappointed.
