It's time for another review of a Book Brawl 2025 title!

This time we take a look into the mirror………

SOUL MIRROR

By: Edmund Stone

13-year-old Jessica's life has been nothing but turmoil. Bounced from foster home to foster home, she spends her days unwanted and alone. She wants to scream, but no one will hear her.

No sound comes from her. She's nonverbal. Her cries go unanswered.

There's one place, though, that she's accepted, and she can speak. A place she goes within the mirror.

An interesting concept, though I do feel it got a little convoluted throughout, which took some of the steam out of the pacing, but all in all I enjoyed it. This is the first book I have read from Edmund, and I will check out his others as well. Give it a go!
