Ohhhh!!! This was a really fun find on Godless!! It’s super short, around 10 pages or so, but packs a hell of a punch and a twist I don’t think anyone will see!!
To summarize without ruining anything… a young girl who was once homeless is taken off the streets by a corrupt politician. She never understood why he chose her, but she was thankful for the life she was currently living. Then she finds out why she was really chosen… and ohhhhh the ending was fantastic!!
I do wish it had been a bit longer simply because I loved the writing style etc., but with that being said, it’s great as is. Highly recommend. And I will now be going and binge reading everything else this author has published!!

NIGHT OF THE LIVING SEX DOLL

This has always been one of my favorite short stories by Jason. So much so there have been countless times I’ve asked him to bring the FMC back and expand on the story.
When I found out that Carietta was narrating the audible, I knew it was going to be so good. She’s a phenomenal narrator and captured the essence of this story perfectly. I’m not typically an audiobook person, but I really do enjoy the ones that Carietta narrates.
It’s hard to give a full run down without ruining the entire plot but think the movie M3GAN for adults! The short story is available on Godless, and the audiobook is available on audible. Highest of recommendations for both!
A LOVE LETTER TO SATAN

I don’t typically quote the blurb(s) for a book, but these are just too perfect:
- A perfect man is hard to find. Thankfully, the failures are easy to dismember.
- What's a girl gotta do to find one flawless specimen?
- A Love Letter to Satan is a story about love, death, and the triumph over imperfections.
Well, this was a hell of a story for just under 20 pages!! What happens when you’re tired of the online dating scene and men lying about who they really are? Well, you hail Satan in attempts to create the perfect one of course!
The FMC is absolutely nuts, but she’s also a vibe. Her character was done perfectly for what this story needed. The ending was WILD and definitely took me by surprise. The duel POV was done very well too. This story has a ton of body horror and quite a few gag worthy moments. So, if that’s your thing or you want to try testing your limits a bit, I highly recommend giving this one a go! I’ll definitely be binge reading more of this authors stories in the near future!
