6-15-25 — Christina’s 52 Splatterpunk and Extreme Horror Books to Read

I’m back! I took a few weeks hiatus but never fear! I’m going to be doubling up a few weeks. I hope you enjoy your recommendations in the form of an Eiffel Tower. (I will not be explaining that highly inappropriate joke.)

This week we have TWO heavy hitters. The first one really doesn’t need an introduction, but I will anyway. One of the first authors in the Splatterpunk community and will for sure cause nightmares, Clive Barker and BOOKS OF BLOOD series. Do you have a favorite story or volume? Let me know.

The second is one of my favorite authors because of Alex Cole. Besides Von and Greg (see Ryan Harding’s short story collections), Alex is my other book boyfriend.

He’s everything a gal needs; keeps you on your toes, will kill for you (if you can pay the fee), and he’s ALWAYS in the mood. Nothing messes with the man’s libido.

On top of all of that, Ericmore builds a world of pure depravity, blood, guts, and more body parts than you can shake a dead baby’s corpse at. (If you read the first one, you will get the second inappropriate joke of the post.)
