Hello again, my sweets! I have two new recommendations for you this week.
One is an author that is collecting nominations like Pokemon (sorry, my son is in his Pokemon phase). Eric LaRocca is not only one of the most poetic prose writers right now, but the willingness to engage with readers and the humbleness just make him top freakin’ tier. So let’s see what I picked for LaRocca.

Not to be out done, my second for this week is one of my personal favorites as a human. Kevin Sweeney was one of the first authors that really opened my eyes to the wonders of extreme horror with a side of dark humor. If you have had the honor of speaking with him in any context, he is just as he writes: fierce, funny, and one of a kind.
This story is personal to him. In what ways, I will never tell but if you want a story that will make you sob, cringe, and wish for a different world, Sweeney has you covered.
