Today's breakdown is for "Mastodon" by Steve Stred:

I was thoroughly entertained by the creativeness of the creatures in this book, definitely worth reading for those alone. As far as plot, I was left with some questions at the end, quite a bit really, but I met the ending with a grin of pure satisfaction.

My biggest complaint about this one is the amount of luck and skill that the main characters possess, I would have liked to have seen more failures encountered just to make it seem more realistic.

Overall, a fun Sci-Fi Horror story that I hope isn't over yet!
