Welcome to Latham's Last Words, where I give you my last words on books I've enjoyed. It's Women in Horror Month and I want to share some reviews from one of my favorite women in horror, Nat Whiston.
Death Walks With Me
A mixture of horror and dark fantasy, this is a refreshing new take on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Hooked from the beginning, I am so invested in this world and it's characters. Each one, except Abbadon, will find a way into your heart. I love books that will have me wanting the "evil" person to win.
Whiston sure does have a beautiful written voice and I can not wait to read the next book and see what happens.

Feel Her Pain
The author took something that women deal with and magnified it times a thousand. What a fantastic concept and the ending was something I would have never seen coming. I loved the writing style and the pace of the story. I could really feel for the main character, her agony and despair flowed from the pages.

Hooks: Mind Over Matter
The best way I can describe this book is an anxiety attack in 82 pages. I felt just as anxious as Evie and I really didn't want to know what was next. But I kept reading. I don't want to give anything away, just know I thought I knew where the story was going, but I did not expect where it went.
A dystopian horror that will immerse you in the sights, sounds and smells of this world.
