Welcome to Latham's Last Words, where I give you my last words on books I've enjoyed. I do love extreme/splatterpunk horror and when I saw the table of contents for this anthology I knew it was going to be a banger. And I was right!

Gorefest

With the amount of horror talent in the table of contents there's no chance this wouldn't be an awesome, gruesome, gory, disgusting good time.

F**kin Maggots by Natasha Sinclair

A brutal rock and roll story that was unexpectedly lewd and gross.

Cut Around The A$$ by Daniel J Volpe

Excellent wendigo story!

Little Elvis by Armand Rosamilia

I can now check off "read a story about people getting turned on by power tools" on my to do list.

Bloodsoaked Savior by Wrath James White

Beautifully bleak poem about grief.

Influencers by Donnie Goodman

Thought this was going to just be a story about crap, but I learned (not that I wanted to) about apotemnophilia.

Beneath The Moor by Jonathan Butcher

Disturbing folk horror set on the moors about the Beast of Bodmin Moor.

Stephen Kozeniewski's winning Gross Out Contest stories, Dildoey McDoldoface: A poop Dildo's journey and Everybody poops. Especially Godzilla

Let's just say I can see why he won with them. (Koz if you're reading this I'm waiting for Are You There Godzilla? It's Me Mothra.)

.38 Special by Amy Grech

Russian Roulette and a man lucking out twice!

Winner Digs The Grave by the late great Jay Wilburn

Dystopian world, cannibalism and plenty of gore. Red actually broke my heart.

You Can't Kill The Dead by Robert Essig and Jack Bantry

I enjoyed this unique zombie story mixed with some eco horror.

The Cart Don't Go There by Patrick C Harrison III

A parking lot monitor taking his job to the extreme. Loved it!

Infested by Lucas Milliron

Bug stories always squick me out and this was no exception.

The Negative One by Wesley Southard

A fantastic twist on the vampire story!

Grudge Pipes by K Trap Jones

If you read this book, make sure you don't miss this one! It's hidden in the back. And it's insane! Definitely takes revenge to the next level!

If you're a fan of extreme and splatterpunk you'll want this anthology on your shelf!
