It's Pride Month and I've gathered some interviews with some amazing LGBTQIA+ authors which I will be posting throughout the month.

Angelique is one of my favorite people. We are constantly harassing each other via memes and reels. I always laugh when I'm around her.

Tell us a little about yourself.

Hello! I am a LGBTQ Splatter horror award winning author from southwest Michigan. I like infusing romance and thriller aspects into my extreme horror, making for horrifying and twisted stories. When not spending time with my wife and four dogs I like to immerse myself in writing, reading, films and music.

I am also one half of Bludgeoned Girls Press.

How important do you think queer representation in horror is?

I think it's important the represent all sides of life. The LGBTQ, POC, Handicap, Homeless etc. It's life, the real world and you will run into all sorts of people. Life isn't made up of just Straight white people.

Tell us about your most recent release, or an upcoming release.

SPLATTER

4 Authors.

1 Family.

Gallons of Blood.

Meet the Collins family.

There are run-of-the-mill psychopaths and then there’s the Collins’s.

When Grandma Collins returns from a mental institution, she finds her family in a state of disarray. Sure, they’re murdering people, but it’s just not being done right.

Under their grandmother’s watchful eye, the Collins clan are about to get even crazier.

Welcome to the family.

Which character you've created is your favorite and why?

Dani will always be my favorite character because she was the first. It was the start of writing something longer than a song, a poem or a flash fiction piece.

Sprunki Retake I really enjoyed reading this interview. It’s always great to discover new voices and learn more about the people behind the stories. Angelique’s passion for writing and creativity really comes through, and I appreciate the effort put into sharing these conversations.
