Today's breakdown is for the audiobook of "Incel" by Matthew A. Clarke:
My second time reading something from Clarke and I gotta say I was not expecting the crazy ride that I was on. I wasn’t prepared for the depravity at hand, but once the slide incident happened I buckled myself in for the madness ahead. Mix some outcasts with dark minds along with the petty pursuit of fame/fortune and what do you get? A whole lot of insanity! I thought the exploration of the psychopathic mind was written great and I approve of the bleak note it ended on. This book may trigger you, but it's worth the risk so take it.
The audio portion was performed by Patrick Webb who made the story feel as if it were genuinely being told by the deadly trio of main characters. Very well done.

Second breakdown of the day is for the audiobook of "Butchered" by Matthew A. Clarke:
Clarke brings the brutality in this short that will make you think twice about stealing someone's weed crop. In part it has the feel of backwoods Horror, but it is mixed in with a harrowing reminder of the sickening things that can be found on the dark web. This one will keep your heart racing as it unfolds and you're gonna need some of that non-stolen, potent chronic to get through it. Spark up and let the anticipation begin!
The audio portion was narrated by Lucas Boyd who did a wonderful job.
