I hope it feels like Fall where you are! It has been unseasonably warm where I live and while I'm not at all ready for Winter weather, I have had to bring the Fall vibes strictly by reading.

IT CAME FROM THE PUMPKIN PATCH: A SMALL TOWN MONSTER HARVEST HORROR by Chris Heinicke & Kate Reedwood
1. Well, this was an absolute delight! I’d personally not say it’s ‘scary’ but it is eerie and a little gross and honestly, just damn good fun in the same way Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice are fun and just a tiny bit unsettling.
2. We follow a rag-tag group of middle schoolers as their small-town experiences an unimaginable horror due to genetic engineering going awry. For someone who immensely dislikes pumpkin, this was the ultimate in “I told you it’s disgusting” revenge. If you really don’t like barf, maybe stay away from this one, although I didn’t think it was too graphic, and found it a bit more funny than gross.
3. The characters were so darn likeable! I wanted to be a part of their friend group except I really wouldn’t want to experience what they go through this one terrible Halloween day...
Completely recommend for a good time!
