Just finished the audio for ENTOMBED by Brian Keene. Knowing Keene on a personal life, as is no secret, I loved how I could hear most of this story in his actual voice, from the constant use of the F word, to his sense of humor evidenced by the darkly witty punchlines and intrusive thoughts sprinkled throughout. Centered around a group of people rushing to safety in an old bunker beneath their hotel during a zombie outbreak, ENTOMBED is told through the eyes of one of the tour guides for the out of commission bunker. He’s a good fellow, friendly, knows his job, well-liked by his colleagues, or most of them, far as he knows.  Just a normal guy, on a normal day, until it suddenly wasn’t.

As hunger takes control and sanity unravels, ENTOMBED is an all too plausible scenario played out by one man just trying to stay alive…or is it?  Wild, violent, and funny at the right (wrong) times, ENTOMBED is a perfect tale of terror from one of the best in the industry.  Highly recommend to horror fans everywhere especially those that live for zombies.
